Refund policy
What you will need for return and/or exchange:
- Order number (4 digit order confirmation number received in order confirmation email or number on packing slip) and zip code your order was shipped to.
- If you'd like to initiate a return or exchange - please email our help center (help@thecommonthreadoutfitters.com) with the above listed items as well as the reason for said return or exchange.
Please Note:
- Items must be in original condition, unworn condition with tags attached.
- Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Discounted/Special Offer promotions/items cannot be returned unless damaged (including Weekly Wednesday Bundles/Promotions).
- Returns/Exchanges are only accepted if purchased through The Common Thread Outfitters directly.
- Any caps sent back inside a plastic bag will not be refunded/exchanged (must be received in a packing box).
Standard Policy:
- For online purchases through The Common Thread Outfitters website, returns and exchanges must be initiated within 30 days from the delivery date.
- If the size you ordered doesn't fit or you'd like a different design, please include the information in your email to us (help@thecommonthreadoutfitters.com). Please allow up to 14 days for processing after we receive the returned item. Our customer care team will reach out if we have any questions.
- If the value of your exchange is less than the returned item(s), we'll issue you a store credit for the difference. We do not charge for shipping on exchanges.

Return Policy:
- Returns can be accepted for store credit or refunded (excluding shipping and processing charges) on items purchased directly from us, as long as the product is not on sale, discontinued, visibly worn, washed, damaged, or part of a promotion (such as weekly Wednesdays). All sales of gift cards and promotional items are final - no returns will be accepted on these items.
- For a full refund, the product must be returned within 30 days of receipt, and the refund will be issued to the original payment method or given as store credit. Please note: If a discount was applied to your purchase, the refund will reflect the discounted price, not the original price of the item.
- To help us continue offering quality products at fair prices, a restocking fee of $5.00 will be applied to each return. This fee helps cover the cost of handling and restocking returned items. This fee can be waived if customer is willing to accept store credit in lieu of refunding original payment method.
- Once your return is processed, please allow 7-10 days for the refund to be credited to your original payment method.
Exchange Policy:
