About Us

The Common Thread Outfitters was born from a friendship and a shared belief in the country we call home.

Founders Jacob and Whitney met through a group of entrepreneurs and quickly realized that despite coming from different backgrounds and experiences, they valued many of the same things—hard work, opportunity, and a deep love for America.

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, we wanted to create something that honored both our nation’s history and the freedoms we enjoy today. Our flagship design reflects that story, featuring the original 13-star flag and today’s 50-star flag crossed with symbols representing those who fought for our freedom then and those who defend it now.

But this brand is about more than one milestone.

The Common Thread Outfitters represents the belief that while Americans may come from different backgrounds, generations, and beliefs, we share a common thread—we are all American.

Our mission is simple:
to celebrate patriotism, bring people together, and remind us that our country is strongest when we stand united.
